      Yesterday my son suddenly asked me，"Mom.Why don't we keep a cat?" I told him that since our dog Mini died,I had made up my mind that we would never have any living thing.  " If you like cats,you can have one in your own place，"I said in the end. My son said that he was just asking.     
       I didn't tell my son that I had complacted feelings about cats. That was a long story.              
        昨天我儿子突然问我：“妈妈，为什么我们不养一只猫？” 我对他说 自从我们家的狗狗“迷你”死后，我就打定主意再也不养任何活物了。最后我对他说,“如果你喜欢你可以在你自己的住处养一个。” 我儿子说他只是问一问。
       我没有对我儿子说，我对猫有一种复杂的感情。那就说来话长了。
